Werner Willms founds Willms Fleisch GmbH in Ruppichteroth, North Rhine-Westphalia, as a slaughter and cutting plant for cattle and pigs.
GROWTH AND OPTIMISATION
Hubert Willms, son of the company founder, becomes managing director. In the following years he strategically develops Willms Fleisch GmbH and sets the course for the future.
MODERN AND INTEGRATED APPROACH
After the expansions in 2014 and 2015, the production area has grown to approx. 16,000 square metres. Today, Willms is a comprehensive quality supplier that offers a wide range of products and production from a single source.

The butcher's trade
The basis for high-quality meat and sausage products is solid and careful manual work. Just like at Willms: Even for company founder Werner Willms, master butchers were the guarantee for "quality and freshness". Even today the company is an important employer in the region, standing for values, quality and tradition in the butcher's trade.
The family business
Willms GmbH is a medium-sized company, run today by the second generation of the family. While the production technology continues to develop, the values of the family business have remained the same: Reliability, continuity and quality have been the hallmarks of Willms Fleisch GmbH since it was founded.
Flat hierarchies within the company allow short decision-making paths and trusting cooperation – between employees and with customers.
